This report was requested by Walmart U.S. last year when I was working as an RND designer in the Product Development and Design team in Sae-A Trading. Specifically, Men's Apparel Sales Report from Walmart U.S. is confidential so, there are only short insights in this portfolio.
I researched the general trend in the current market, suggested promotion groups and produced garment samples exactly the same as the flat sketches. Prototype samples were delivered to the Headquarter of Walmart, Bentonville, U.S. for the first business opening conference.
Finally, new opportunity in menswear business between Sae-A Trading and Walmart U.S. was opened for the first time and this became the basis for the subsequent expansion into the Walmart Mexico. After the conference, especially the Vietnamese production line was aligned because of the complex structure of the woven insulated jackets.
Also, Walmart U.S. requested more design suggestions too.
